Shannan Winkler is the Vice President of Finance at Sky Solutions, where she oversees all accounting and finance functions. She is responsible for shaping and maintaining the company’s financial strategy and growth models. Her role includes managing financial reporting, modeling, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
With over 18 years of experience in government contracting, Shannan brings in-depth expertise in GAAP, DCAA, FAR compliance, and the implementation of policies and procedures. Before joining Sky Solutions, she served for 15 years as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at IntelliDyne, where she managed Contracts, Accounting, Finance, and compliance with agencies such as DCAA, IRS, DOL, and DCMA. She also maintained critical relationships with key external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax accountants.
Shannan’s other professional highlights include four years in public accounting as an auditor and four years at a mid-sized government contractor, where she played a pivotal role in a successful M&A transaction.
Shannan holds a BS in Business from James Madison University, double majoring in Accounting and Human Resource Management. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Virginia.
