Herndon, VA – January 9, 2025: Sky Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Shannan Winkler as Vice President of Finance. In this role, Shannan will lead the Finance, Accounting, HR, and Contracts teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to drive the company’s continued success.
With over 18 years of experience in government contracting, Shannan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Sky Solutions. She will oversee all financial and accounting operations, including shaping the company’s financial strategy, managing reporting, modeling, and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Before joining Sky Solutions, Shannan served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at IntelliDyne, where she managed Contracts, Accounting, and Finance for over 15 years. Her leadership ensured compliance with agencies such as DCAA, IRS, DOL, and DCMA while fostering key relationships with banks, auditors, and tax professionals. Shannan’s extensive background also includes four years in public accounting as an auditor and a pivotal role in a successful M&A transaction at a mid-sized government contractor.

Shannan has a Bachelor of Science in Business from James Madison University, where she double majored in Accounting and Human Resource Management. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Virginia. Shannan’s leadership enables Sky Solutions to continue its trajectory of growth and excellence.
